Yahoo! / The Weather Channel weather script > Uses Yahoo! PlaceFinder for geolocation -- an excellent service that will geolocate based on city, post code, airport code, or landmark (Eiffel Tower, Disneyland, etc.) > Gives current conditions, big fat red warnings / orange watches / etc. if applicable, and links to a current animated weather map > Gives a detailed forecast for today / tonight / tomorrow Changelog: 1.2 Small bug fix * Where a weather alert was reported by Yahoo but had expired on wunderground, the script would expect to find alert text on wunderground and error. Fixed. 1.1 Major changes * Yahoo's geolocation service now requires YQL * Yahoo's weather page format changed. Entire hierarchy of scraping had to be rewritten. * Due to difficulty retrieving alerts (warnings, watches, etc) via Yahoo's weird XMLHTTP call, alerts are now scraped from wunderground 1.0 initial release
